
When we were in Gran Canaria, Spain we got to see the making of a
new museum in the south area of the island. It's a museum dedicated to the agricultural history of the "Fortunate Islands" and specifically the harvest of the tomato in that region. It reminded me a little of the Discovery History Museum in Old Sacramento. The inauguration of this
Museo de la Zafra is today - there at 7:00 this evening. Fascinating!
